3 hrs of picking up rubbish contained 13 bags of rubbish, a few tyres and lots of iron + plastic. We wish we couldn’t find that much rubbish! But when you walk the banks and look deep into that long grass it is there hidden ready to be collected. We ended the morning with a sausage sizzle, chippies from our local fish n chip shop and a giveaway from Kai Ora Honey Ltd - Manuka Honey Production Specialist. Thank you to Coastal Valet Services for providing us a trailer + taking the rubbish to the dump.
